Questions and answers

What people ask most.

Short answers, each with the page that holds the full detail.

What does API Automations do?

API Automations designs and operates the data layer behind modern products: ingestion, normalization, consent-aware analytics and curated marketplace delivery, engineered as one system. It builds and runs its own indexes, databases and products, and supplies the data and technology behind partner platforms.

More in About Us

Which API Automations products are live?

All of them. The PEPI Index, the Estate Index and the Cannabis Research Index are open to the public; the Sports Database needs an issued API key; the Criminal Enterprise Network Index, Post Automation and the Research LLM open on a sign-in. Civic Forecast, Nothing to Report and RealSynq are partner platforms built on the same infrastructure.

Where can I get the PEPI Index?

On its live dashboard at pepi.apiautomations.com, which also publishes the index's methodology, data dictionary and a public JSON API, and as a listing on the Snowflake Marketplace.

How do I buy or request access to data?

Request access from the Marketplace Demand page or the portal catalog. Each request is reviewed against the source's license posture and consent basis, and an approval is an entitlement for that source on your account, delivered to a warehouse, object store, programmatic destination or webhook. Identity verification (KYC) is optional for domestic buyers and required for international ones.

How do I list data as a supplier?

Submit a listing with a title, category and description from the Data Supply page. It is reviewed for provenance, license posture, cadence and consent basis before it becomes a source card in the buyer catalog. Suppliers are KYC-verified before a listing goes live: optional domestically, required internationally.

How do I report an error or request a correction?

Write to contact@apiautomations.com with the page or card, the figure or statement at issue, what is wrong and, if you have it, the source that shows the correct information. API Automations aims to acknowledge within three to five business days and to tell you what it did or why it did not act.

More in Editorial Standards

How do I delete my personal data or opt out?

Requests to delete personal information run on the statutory timeline rather than the editorial one, and the preference tooling is built to act on a deletion request in real time. Signed-in users can request data deletion, advertising opt-out and email preference changes from My Account, and GPP and GPC signals are honored automatically.

Does API Automations publish research?

Yes. The research program covers public-data indexes, a health and medical data track that publishes reproducible analyses of public federal health data, and telemetry studies such as Invisible Signals. Work meant for peer review first passes five written gates: provenance, venue, ethics, licensing and disclosure.
